Criminal Records Bureau Debate, 20/01/10 [E/NI/S/W]

During the meeting of the UK Parliament on 20 January 2010 MPS debated the Criminal Records Bureau. Edward Vaizey (Cons) introduced the debate.

The debate covered delays in getting a CRB check, the number of CRB applications someone has to make to cover the various roles that they might have that involve working with children, the inappropriate application of CRB checks for casual and informal arrangements, and the provision within the Police Act 1997 that allows unproven allegations to appear on a CRB file.
