CHAS Stirling First Anniversary Motion, 18/02/2015 [S]

Motion lodged before the Scottish Parliament on 18 February 2015 by Richard Simpson (Lab) on CHAS Stirling Celebrates First Anniversary. The full text of the motion reads:

That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Children’s Hospice (CHAS) on celebrating the first anniversary of its charity outlet in Stirling; recognises the contribution that such outlets make to CHAS and other Scottish hospices; believes that the hospice movement plays an essential role in palliative and terminal care and that Scottish society recognises the value of its role; looks forward to a refreshed national palliative and terminal care framework, and hopes that it will lead to a step change in community palliative care so that all people in Scotland with terminal illness can die where they choose and with the support that they need.
