Commission for Developing Scotlandís Young Workforce Oral Question, 4/02/15 [S]

During Portfolio Question Time on 4 February 2015 Nanaette Milne (Con) asked the Scottish Government what progress it is making on implementing the recommendations of the commission for developing Scotlandís young workforce.

The Cabinet Secretary for Fair Work, Skills and Training, Roseanna Cunningham replied, that the Scottish Government are making good progress against the milestones set out in our implementation plan, ďDeveloping the Young Workforce: Scotlandís Youth Employment StrategyĒ, which was published in December 2014 and was the subject of some of my responses to earlier questions. I am particularly looking forward to the inaugural meeting of the national advisory group tomorrow, which I shall chair jointly with Councillor Douglas Chapman, the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities spokesperson for education, children and young people, at which we will discuss progress.

For the full answer to this and any subsidiary questions see the Scottish Parliament Official Report 4 February 2015 which is available from the Scottish Parliament website.
