During its meeting of 3 January 2015 the Scottish Parliament Health and Sport Committee took evidence on the Assisted Suicide (Scotland) Bill.

The Commitee also took evidence from; Professor Sheila McLean, Emeritus Professor of Law and Ethics in Medicine; Dr Sally Witcher, Chief Executive Officer, Inclusion Scotland; Catherine Farrelly, Alliance Member, Scottish Youth Alliance; Dr Peter Bennie, Chair of BMA Scotland, British Medical Association; Tanith Muller, Parliamentary and Campaigns Manager, Parkinsonís UK in Scotland.
