Investment in National Autistic Society Motion, 13/01/15

Motion lodged before the Scottish Parliament on 13 January 2015 by Sandra White (SNP) on The National Autistic Society Secures Major Investment. The full text of the motion reads:

That the Parliament congratulates the National Autistic Society on being awarded a £273,185 grant from the Big Lottery Fundís Investing in Communities Life Transitions fund; understands that the project aims to give people between 16 and 25 the skills to form positive relationships and make successful transitions into employment, training or further education; notes that each young person is to receive a programme of individually tailored support to help improve social skills and give them the confidence for the future; further notes that the support will include one to one sessions, life coaching sessions and job search support, and wishes the National Autistic Society every success with this project as well as the continued success of its existing programmes.
