Child Sex Exploitation Oral Question, 20/11/14 [S]

During First Minister's Question Time on 20 November 2014 Jim Eadie (SNP) asked the First Minister what steps the Scottish Government is taking to address child sexual exploitation.

The First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, replied that the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people are a key priority for the Scottish Government. We published Scotlandís national action plan on child sexual exploitation on 11 November, and it represents a comprehensive strategy for addressing a complex challenge. It builds on work that has been taking place across Scotland, combining examples of local best practice with national strategy, and it will help us to ensure that we are taking the necessary steps to put our commitment into action.
