Keeping Children Safe Written Answer, 27/10/14 [S]

Written Answer given in response to Christine Grahams's (SNP) question asking the Scottish Government how many applications have been (a) made and (b) granted each year under the community sex offender disclosure scheme, Keeping Children Safe.

The Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Kenny MacAskill, replied that the information requested is a matter for Police Scotland. I have alerted the Chief Constable to your question and I have asked him to reply to you direct.
Guidance on offences under the Act is provided to Procurator Fiscal Deputes which is outlined in the answer to S4W-22621 on 21 October 2014.
