Education and Culture Committee considers Children and Young People Bill at Stage 2, 21/01/14 [S}
During its meeting of 21 January 2014 the Scottish Parliament Education and Culture Committee held the final Stage 2 session on the Children and Young People Bill on 21 January 2014.
Amendments discussed included school closures, rural schools, children's hearings, same-sex marriage, ASL in the early years, gender recognition, and the role of the voluntary sector.
The Cabinet Secretary for Education, Michael Russell, and the Minister for Children and Young People, Aileen Campbell, appeared before the Committee.
