Online Safety Bill, 06/12/13 [E/NI/S/W]

Second reading of a Private Memberís bill sponsored by Baroness Howe of Idlicote took place in the House of Lords on 6 December 2013.

The Bill makes provision about the promotion of online safety, requires internet service providers and mobile phone operators to provide a service that excludes adult content, requires electronic device manufacturers to provide a means of filtering content, and for parents to be educated about online safety.
