Education Committee takes evidence on Children and Young People Bill, 24/09/13 [S]

During its meeting of 24 September 2013 the Scottish Parliament Education and Culture Committee took Stage 1 evidence on the Children and Young People Bill.

The Committee heard from May Barker from Clacks kinship carers; Alison Gillies from the Child Poverty Action Group in Scotland; Kate Higgins from Children 1st; and Anne Swartz from the Scottish kinship care alliance.

They also took evidence from Bill Alexander, director of health and social care with Highland Council.
