Funding Written Answer, 10/06/13 [S]

Written Answer given in response to Neil Bibby's (Lab) question asking the Scottish Government which applicants to the Third Sector Early Intervention Fund have neither received an award nor been selected as strategic partners

The Minister for Children and Young People, Aileen Campbell, replied that in line with the approach the Scottish Government has taken with other funds, it does not intend to release details of organisations who were unsuccessful in their application to the Third Sector Early Intervention Fund and who are not in a Strategic Funding Partnership. Releasing this information could cause reputational damage which could discourage the organisations named, or other similar organisations, from applying for funding in future. This would constitute substantial prejudice to the effective conduct of public affairs.

For the full answer to this and other questions see the Scottish Parliament Written Answer Report 10 June 2013 which is available from the Scottish Parliament website.
