Proposed Smoking (Children in Vehicles) (Scotland) Bill, 28/05/13 - 30/08/13 [S]

Jim Hume MSP is consulting on proposals for a Bill to prohibit, in Scotland, smoking in private vehicles while a child under 16 years of age is present. Consultation to 30 August 2013.

Recent research has shown that 17% of 11-16 year olds in the UK are exposed to second-hand smoke more than once a week while in a car with a further 30% indicating exposure once a week or less.
