Justice Committee discusses the connection between school exclusions and offending, 11/12/12 [S]

During its meeting of 11 December 2012 the Scottish Parliament Justice Committee held a round table discussion on the connection between school exclusions and offending.

The Committee heard from Alan Staff, Apex Scotland; John Butcher, Association of Directors of Education in Scotland; Vivienne Sutherland, Association of Scottish Principal Educational Psychologists; Susan Quinn, Educational Institute of Scotland; Maggie Fallon, Education Scotland; Nico Juetten, Office of Scotland's Commissioner for Children and Young People; Colin Morrison, Pupil Inclusion Network Scotland; Jim Thewliss, School Leaders Scotland; Eileen Prior, Scottish Parent Teacher Council; Professor Pamela Munn, Moray House School of Education; and Professor Susan McVie, Edinburgh Study of Youth Transitions and Crime.
