Parental Leave Written Answer, 06/06/12 [S]

Written Answer given in response to Kezia Dugdale's (Lab) question asking the Scottish Executive whether it has made representations to the UK Government regarding proposed changes to maternity and paternity leave in light of the potential impact on its parenting strategy.

The Minister for Children and Young People, Aileen Campbell, replied that the Scottish Government has been in contact with the UK Government regarding proposed changes to maternity and paternity leave. The Scottish Government welcomes any changes that introduce more flexibility to suit parents.
