Education Committee considers Public Records Bill at Stage 2, 02/03/11 [S]

During its meeting of 2 March 2011 the Scottish Parliament Education, Lifelong Learning and Culture Committee took evidence on the Public Records (Scotland) Bill at Stage 2.

The Committee heard from the Minister for Culture and External Affairs, Fiona Hyslop on issues including record management plans and the meaning of "public records".

At this meeting the Committee also took evidence on the draft Public Services Reform (General Teaching Council for Scotland) Order 2011 from the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, Michael Russell; and Laurence Sullivan of the Scottish Government.
