Access to information on residential establishments for children, 10/08/05 [S]
The Scottish Executive has made available to the public old files that hold information on residential establishments for children. The files relate to the management, running and inspection of some children's homes in Scotland. Information is not available for all establishments and the amount of information varies.

Written Answer given in response to Alex Neil's (SNP) question asking the the Scottish Executive whether all those local authorities that were not given the opportunity by COSLA to bid for funding for a pilot scheme for the education of children in care will now be given the opportunity to bid for additional resources from the Scottish Executive.

Evaluation of secure accommodation, 15/04/05 [S]
This evaluation was commissioned by the Scottish Executive and compiled by independent researchers. It provides a summary of the work undertaken since the last interim report was published in November 2003, reports the results of the survey of secure authorisations and outlines the initial themes arising from the interviews with key decision makers.

Children's homes information, 04/04/05 [S]
The public can now access old files held by the Executive on children's homes and List D schools. The files contain information that relate to the management, running and inspection of some establishments. Files are not available for all children's homes and schools. Any personal information has been removed from the files so that it can be released to the public.

Equal Opportunities Committee considers provision of care homes for the young physically disabled people, 15/03/05 [S]
At their meeting on 15 March 2005 the Committee considered a response from the Minister for Health & Community Care in relation to a petition on the provision of care homes for the young physically disabled people. The Committee agreed to consider the Executive's final report of its scoping study when it was published.

Psychiatric Care Oral Question, 03/02/05 [S]
