Identity parades with child witness - guidance, 19/10/05 [S]
Guidance developed by the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland on the conduct of identity parades with child witnesses. The guidance will help to make sure that child witnesses are more supported and less stressed when they are involved in identity parades. This publication is aimed primarily at police officers in charge of the investigation and police officers conducting the identity parade.

Vulnerable Witnesses (Scotland) Act 2004 guidance, 19/04/05 [S]
The Executive has released guidance and information for practitioners regarding the Vulnerable Witnesses (Scotland) Act 2004. It should be of use to Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service staff, other legal practitioners, children's reporters, the police, court personnel, social workers, Victim Support Scotland volunteers and workers in other support organisations.

This document contributes to the series of child witness support guidance. The purpose of this guidance is to advise police officers on best practice standards in recording information about child, young person and vulnerable adult witnesses through the standard prosecution report (SPR) in order to inform decision making about those witnesses throughout legal proceedings.

This document contributes to the series of child witness support guidance that aims to improve support and reduce stress for children involved in legal proceedings. The Code provides guidance on how therapeutic support can be provided to child witnesses in ways that avoid the risk of contaminating the evidence and establish best practice guidelines which can be implemented consistently throughout Scotland.
