The Scottish Government seeks responses to the draft Adoption (Disclosure of Medical Information about Natural Parents) (Scotland) Regulations 2009. These regulations make provision for the disclosure of medical information about the natural parents during the adoption process. These regulations are applicable where this information has not been achievable whilst information is collected under other regulations. Consultation to 28 January 2009.

The Adoptions with a Foreign Element (Scotland) Regulations 2009: Consultation on Draft Regulations, 09/10/08-19/12/08 [S]
These regulations make provision in respect of (a) the requirements, procedures, recognition and effect of adoptions in Scotland where the prospective adopters are habitually resident in the UK and they wish to adopt a child habitually resident abroad and (b) the requirements and procedures to be followed in Scotland where the child is habitually resident here.
