Justice 2 Committee hears evidence on their Youth Justice Inquiry, 30/11/04 [S]
At their meeting on 30 November 2004 the Committee heard evidence on their Youth Justice Inquiry from HM Chief Inspector of Prisons, the Care Commission, St Mary's Secure Unit, Howdenhall Centre, Edinburgh and Jennifer Davidson, Director and Professor Andrew Kendrick, Scottish Institute for Residential Child Care.

The Committee took evidence from the National Autistic Society of Scotland and Psychologists on their youth justice inquiry at their meeting on 16 November 2004. The Committee also received a report from a visit in Edinburgh on the inquiry.

At their meeting on 10 November 2004 the Education Committee took evidence from the Minister for Education and Young People, Peter Peacock and other Executive officials on the budget for 2005/06. The Minister and officials also gave evidence on the curriculum review and the Committee agreed the terms of reference for their inquiry.
