Gender Recognition Bill [E/NI/S/W]
The purpose of the Gender Recognition Bill is to provide transsexual people with legal recognition in their acquired gender.

The Education (School Meals) Act 2003 [S]
An Act of the Scottish Parliament to confer powers on the Scottish Ministers to prescribe circumstances in which education authorities are obliged to ensure that provision is made for pupils to receive milk, meals or other refreshments free of charge; and to provide that the first exercise of those powers has retrospective effect.

Race Regulations 2003 7/03 [E/S/W]
On 19 July 2003, a new law to strengthen protection from racial discrimination and harassment came into effect. The Race Relations Act 1976 (Amendment) Regulations 2003 (the Race Regulations) incorporates the EU Race Directive into UK law by making changes to the Race Relations Act 1976.

An Act of the Scottish Parliament to restate and amend the law relating to mentally disordered persons; and for connected purposes.

Protection of Children (Scotland) Act 2003 [S]
An Act of the Scottish Parliament to require the Scottish Ministers to keep a list of individuals whom they consider to be unsuitable to work with children; to prohibit individuals included in the list, and individuals who are similarly regarded in other jurisdictions, from doing certain work relating to children; to make further provision in relation to that list; and for connected purposes.

Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2003[S]
The Act deals with a number of aspects of the Scottish criminal justice system. The broad policy objectives are to improve public protection including victims' rights, promote effective sentencing, maintain an efficient criminal justice system, keep the law up to date and make certain changes in the law relating to young people.
